Special Assistant to Climate Change Prime Minister Malik Amin Aslam inaugurated the cricket ground in his NA-555 constituency on Sunday (Attock-I).
During his visit, the SAPM, announced the development of 10 new cricket grounds in his country under the initiative of Clean Green Pakistan.
SAPM Malik Amin Aslam said that he would soon be inviting Prime Minister Imran Khan to Attock for a visit.
“The government-led Prime Minister Imran Khan was aware of the worsening challenges facing the climate-vulnerable Gilgit-Baltistan region, which have led to negative consequences for various social and economic sectors, particularly water, energy and agriculture,” said Malik Amin Aslam.
Malik Amin Aslam said earlier on the day that the new government is taking all-out steps to assist the government of Gilgit-Baltistan to address the challenges of environmental degradation, solid waste, climate change and deforestation.
During his meeting with the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister, he shared these views.
