Pakistan and Qatar have agreed to a Ten-year LNG supply arrangement in which Doha will supply Islamabad with three million tons of LNG over ten years.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to Radio Pakistan, Qatari Energy Minister Saad Sherida al-Kaabi described the LNG agreement as “historic” for both countries.
Similarly, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Petroleum Nadeem Babar said the new agreement with Qatar was advantageous and met the country’s needs.
