2 Million Worshippers Fill Masjid al-Haram on 25th Night of Ramadan

Around two million worshippers gathered at Masjid al-Haram in Mecca on the 25th night of Ramadan to take part in special night prayers. The large crowd filled the mosque’s main prayer halls, rooftops, open courtyards, and nearby streets as pilgrims came together for worship during the holy month.

The last ten nights of Ramadan are considered very important in Islam. Many Muslims believe that Laylat al-Qadr, known as the Night of Power, falls within these nights. Because of this belief, millions of people travel to Mecca to pray and seek blessings during this period.

At the same time, large numbers of worshippers also gathered at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina. Pilgrims filled the mosque to offer Taraweeh and late night prayers, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.

Saudi authorities made special arrangements to handle the massive crowds. The General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques deployed thousands of staff members and volunteers to guide pilgrims and maintain safety.

Additional services such as crowd management, cleaning operations, and medical support were also provided. These measures helped ensure that worshippers could perform their prayers comfortably and safely during one of the most important nights of Ramadan.
