Federal Minister Shazia Atta Murri has announced that under the Benazir Income Support Program, an amount of Rs 2,000 will be given on the birth of a son, while more than Rs 2,500 will be given on the birth of a girl.
In his statement, he said that the Benazir Income Support Program is ready to provide significant financial assistance to 9 million disadvantaged families across the country.
He further disclosed that the budget of ongoing projects under BISP will be substantially increased.
