A family in the Liaquatabad neighbourhood of Karachi that had just returned from the United States (US) was robbed by thieves of $25,000, mobile phones, and other belongings, according to sources on Friday.
Dacoits robbed a US-returned family in Karachi’s Liaquatabad neighbourhood. It was discovered that the family members travelled to Karachi to see their son Dastarbandi at Jamia Binoria Aalamia.
Following the heist, police registered a case and opened an investigation. Details indicate that the accused followed the family after they left the Karachi airport, stopped their car, and demanded to see their identity after pretending to be government representatives.
