268 link roads has been restored out of 342 damaged roads by Balochistan government because of recent monsoon rains and flood. Whereas, 72 bridges were damaged while 45 have been fully renovated.
Recently, as per Communications and Works department, total 342 linked roads of Balochistan were terribly affected by the flood and rain, however several teams are working on the relief operation managed to restore about 80% of the roads and bridges that are connecting Balochistan with the remaining country.
Several teams of C&W department are working day and night in order to restore the damaged connecting roads and bridges of 22 different districts of the province have been affected by rains and floods.
Out of 342 different link roads, 268 have been restored fully so far, while the renovation work on remaining 74 is going on rapidly.
Whereas, 47 communication bridges of the province have been affected from which 45 have been fully restored.
C&D department is utilizing 206 different types of machines for rapidly rebuilding of the road infrastructure.
