Riphah International University held the opening of its 20th Convocation at the Islamabad Convention Centre with grandeur and enthusiasm. The two-day convocation, beginning today, will see a total of 2,860 students receiving their degrees celebrating their hard work, dedication, and academic achievements. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, attended as the chief guest, joining Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad, faculty members, graduates, and parents.
In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad congratulated the graduates and highlighted Riphah’s growing national and international stature. He praised the University’s student exchange programs and emphasized its commitment to ethical values and character-building, saying, “My prayer is that our graduates play an active role in every field of life and continue to make the nation proud.”
Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan acknowledged the graduates’ achievements and the sacrifices of their families. “You are the future of Pakistan, and it is your responsibility to take the country forward,” he remarked.
Chief Guest Sardar Muhammad Yousaf lauded the graduates on earning their professional degrees and expressed hope that they will contribute meaningfully to society. He also highlighted the enrollment of a significant number of students from Palestine, underscoring Riphah’s international recognition and presence.
The convocation not only celebrated academic excellence but also reaffirmed Riphah International University’s focus on moral education, character development, and global collaboration, marking another milestone in the University’s journey of shaping future leaders.
