The Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized a pre-departure orientation session and award ceremony for 321 Sri Lankan students who were selected to study in Pakistan under the “Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students.
” The event was attended by the Sri Lankan Minister of Education, Dr. Susil Premajayantha, and other dignitaries.
The scholarship project is part of the Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Programme, fostering educational collaboration between the two countries.
The scholarship recipients were encouraged to make the most of their educational experience in Pakistan and contribute to strengthening bilateral ties.
