47 NUST Researchers Named Among World’s Top Two Percent Scientists for 2025

In a remarkable achievement for Pakistan, forty-seven researchers from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) have been ranked among the world’s top two percent scientists for 2025. The list, compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, recognizes scholars with the highest impact in their respective research fields.

This recognition highlights NUST’s continued progress as a leading research institution. The number of NUST scientists featured in the global rankings has grown from 23 in 2022 to 47 in 2025, showing a steady rise in research quality and global recognition.

The university’s commitment to innovation and academic excellence continues to place Pakistan on the international research map.

Notably, 26 of these scientists have maintained their positions in the top two percent for consecutive years, underscoring their consistent contributions to science and technology.
