65+ and Unstoppable! Maqsood Rathore Wins Gold for Pakistan at Asian Masters Weightlifting in Doha

Pakistani weightlifter Maqsood Amjad Rathore has won a gold medal at the Asian Masters Weightlifting Championship, held in Doha, Qatar. Competing in the 96kg weight class for the 65+ age group, Rathore made the country proud with his outstanding performance.

He lifted a total of 125kg with 55kg in the snatch and 70kg in the clean and jerk to secure the top spot on the winners’ podium. His victory is a big achievement, not just for him, but also for Pakistan’s presence in international weightlifting competitions.
