According to reports, a ship from China carrying the third batch of 70 new freight coaches for Pakistan Railways has arrived at Karachi port.
The management began unloading the new coaches after a ship carrying cargo coaches arrived at Karachi port, and the 70 cargo coaches would be organised into various freight trains, according to Divisional Superintendent (DS) Railway.
A deal with Chinese officials will allow for the import of 230 automobiles in total. The DS Railway said in a statement that the addition of additional coaches will result in more freight trains and better freight operations.
