80 Govt Vehicles Missing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

An audit report has revealed a serious issue in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Livestock Department, where 80 government vehicles have gone missing. During the audit process, the department could not provide any official documents or records for these vehicles, raising serious questions about where they are and how they have been used.

According to information from the Excise Department, more than 80 vehicles are officially registered under the name of the Director General of Livestock. However, when the audit team visited various field offices and departmental locations, none of these vehicles were found. This has created doubts about whether the vehicles have been misused, lost, or possibly taken without permission.

The audit report has recommended a full and detailed investigation to find out what happened to the missing vehicles. It has also called on the authorities to take quick action to recover these government assets. Officials responsible for this situation must be identified and held accountable, as the loss of government vehicles not only affects department operations but also reflects poorly on the management of public resources.

This discovery highlights the need for stricter monitoring and proper record-keeping in government departments to prevent such problems in the future.
