Indus Motor Company Limited, the company that produces Toyota and Daihatsu cars in Pakistan, has informed its investors about a temporary shutdown of its production plant.
The reason behind this decision is the shortage of cars available for sale and a depletion of essential parts required for car manufacturing. The company is facing challenges in sourcing these parts from external suppliers.
To address these issues, the production of cars will be halted from March 6 to March 11, 2024. This decision is in compliance with regulations set by the government and the stock exchange to ensure transparency and keep investors informed about the company’s operations.
