Watch Video: ICC Releases Official Anthem for T20 World Cup 2024

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the official anthem for the T20 World Cup 2024, titled “Out of this World.”

Composed by Michael Tano Montano, the anthem was launched alongside a music video featuring well-known figures like the eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt, cricket star Chris Gayle, Ali Khan, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, and other personalities from the Caribbean.

Grammy Award-winning vocalist Sean Paul and Soca superstar Kes lend their voices to the anthem, setting the stage for the upcoming tournament set to begin on June 2 in the United States and the West Indies. Cricket fans around the world are eagerly counting down the 30 days until the tournament kicks off.

The ICC has also shared the official anthem on social media platforms, showcasing a diverse array of athletes including Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Stephanie Taylor, and Usain Bolt. Twenty teams will participate in the tournament, divided into five groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight round, where they will compete for a spot in the semi-finals. The final match will take place on June 29, crowning the tournament champion.

A highly anticipated match between Pakistan and India is slated for June 9 in New York, with both teams vying for victory in Group A.

While teams finalize their squads for the prestigious event, Pakistan is yet to announce its squad for the T20 World Cup.
