Pakistan to Run Hajj Operation from May 9th to June 9th this Year

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has unveiled the plan for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, which will take place from May 9th to June 9th. Pilgrims will be transported via flights throughout this period, following a set schedule.

In the initial phase, lasting for the first 15 days, all flights will land at Medina Airport. From May 24th to June 9th, most flights will be redirected to Jeddah Airport.

The operation began with 11 flights transporting 2160 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia on the first day. Departures are arranged from various cities like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Quetta, and Sukkur. This year, the flights aim to accommodate over 68,000 pilgrims through a total of 259 Hajj flights.

The Hajj flight operation will conclude on June 9th, and return flights are scheduled to start on June 20th.
