The National Computing Education Accreditation Council Secretariat has announced the availability of several job positions for Pakistani nationals. These positions are initially offered on a one or two-year contract basis, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance. Job Opportunities and Requirements
Assistant (IT/Programmer) (BPS-16)
The NCEAC is seeking an Assistant (IT/Programmer) who meets the following minimum eligibility requirements:
- A Master’s or BS (16-year) degree with at least a second division.
- Equivalent qualifications from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan are also acceptable.
Required Skills:
- Managing all IT-related tasks at NCEAC, including:
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
- Developing new systems as required using both existing and new software technologies.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving IT-related issues.
- Managing NCEAC databases and servers.
- Providing online and phone support to clients using the NCEAC accreditation system and software.
- Supporting NCEAC in day-to-day activities.
- Performing any additional tasks assigned by the NCEAC reporting officer.
- Remaining calm under pressure.
Finance and Administrative Positions
NCEAC also requires candidates with a background in finance and administration:
- A degree in B.Com (14- or 16-year), BS (16-year) in Computer Science, BBA (Finance) (16-year), or equivalent qualifications recognized by HEC.
Required Skills:
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, especially QuickBook, and databases.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills for online and phone support.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
