Flydubai has announced that it will start daily flights to Islamabad and Lahore beginning July 1, 2024. These flights will depart from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB) and aim to improve travel connections to Pakistan, a significant market for the airline since 2010.
Hamad Obaidalla, the Chief Commercial Officer of Flydubai, emphasized the ongoing high demand for travel between Dubai and Pakistan, which has driven the decision to introduce these new routes. The addition of flights to Islamabad and Lahore will further strengthen Flydubai’s network in Pakistan.
Currently, Flydubai operates flights to several other Pakistani cities, including Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot. With the introduction of these new routes, the airline aims to offer more convenient travel options to passengers.
Sudhir Sreedharan, the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, highlighted the reliability and convenience of the new daily flights.
He mentioned that these services will be operated using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which are known for their efficiency and enhanced passenger experience. The new flights are expected to provide a comfortable and seamless travel experience for passengers.
The expansion of Flydubai’s network to include Islamabad and Lahore is part of the airline’s broader strategy to cater to the travel needs of its customers and provide them with more choices.
This move is anticipated to benefit both leisure and business travelers, offering them more flexibility and connectivity when traveling between Dubai and Pakistan. The airline remains committed to providing high-quality service and meeting the growing demand for travel between these regions.
