The district administration of Peshawar, working together with the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), took action to close down the Daewoo Bus Terminal. This decision came after concerns were raised about the continued use of older buses on routes heading towards the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to directives from the provincial government, officials sealed off the terminal located on G.T. Road. They also issued clear instructions to Daewoo management, urging them to replace these older buses with newer ones and to strictly follow the official rules and regulations.
Officials emphasized that if Daewoo fails to comply with these instructions, the company will face legal consequences and possible further actions. This step is part of efforts to ensure safer and more reliable transportation services for the people using these routes in the region.
