KP Govt to Provide Free Solar Panels to 100,000 Deserving Families

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is now following the example set by Punjab and Sindh by providing free 2kV solar panels to families in need. Provincial Adviser for Finance, Muzammil Aslam, announced that they plan to distribute 100,000 solar systems. Each system will come with electric wires, inverter fans, and panels.

The administration, led by Chief Minister Gandapur, has already set up over 90 power plants. These plants generate electricity at much lower costs compared to the rates charged by Wapda.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to make electricity more affordable and accessible to the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Additionally, the government plans to build its own electricity transmission lines. This step is aimed at further improving the delivery and affordability of electricity for the people.

By investing in solar energy and building infrastructure, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government hopes to enhance the quality of life for its citizens, reduce their electricity costs, and provide a reliable source of power.
