The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to build a safari park in Islamabad
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to build a safari park in Islamabad that will meet international standards, aiming to enhance the city’s recreational and tourism offerings. On Tuesday, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa held a meeting with CDA Board members, representatives from the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and other officials to discuss this exciting project.
The envisioned safari park is set to become a world-class facility, designed to offer a unique experience for both residents and visitors. This initiative aims to position Islamabad as a top tourist destination. The FCDO has pledged technical assistance to ensure that the park meets global standards. To achieve this, the project will use internationally acclaimed safari parks as benchmarks.
In addition to the safari park, Chairman CDA announced plans to improve facilities in F-9 Park. These enhancements will provide residents with exciting new opportunities for outdoor activities, further contributing to the city’s appeal. The combination of the safari park and upgraded F-9 Park facilities reflects the CDA’s commitment to making Islamabad a vibrant and attractive place for both residents and tourists.
