Pakistan has recently announced the discovery of new oil and gas deposits in the Kohat district, located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This news was shared by MOL Pakistan, which is a part of Hungary’s MOL Group. MOL Pakistan owns an 8.4% stake in the Tal Block, where this discovery was made.
The discovery was made at the Razgir-1 exploratory well, where gas condensate was found. This was reported by several key companies, including Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL), and Government Holdings Private Limited (GHPL).
This new find is significant as it boosts the potential for further exploration and development within the TAL Block.
