Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) Observed with Religious Solemnity

On Monday, the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his loyal companions will be observed with great religious devotion to honor their immense sacrifices for Islam.

This day marks a time of mourning and remembrance for the martyrs of Karbala, and people across the country are taking part in processions to pay their respects.

In various cities and towns, these processions are being held to commemorate the bravery and steadfastness of Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions. Security arrangements have been meticulously planned to ensure the safety of those participating in the processions.

Large containers have been placed along the routes to secure the areas, and additional police and Rangers personnel have been deployed, especially in key locations.

In Karachi, the main mourning procession is set to start at Nishtar Park and will follow its traditional path, eventually ending at Hussainia Iranian Imambargah in Kharadar.

The authorities have taken extra precautions in the Numaish area, where more security forces have been stationed to maintain order. For traffic management, the road from Nishtar Park to Imambargah Hussainia Irania near Kakri Ground has been closed to vehicles, ensuring a safe passage for the mourners.

Similarly, in Lahore, the primary Chehlum procession will begin at Haveli Alif Shah and will proceed through designated routes, finally concluding at Karbala Gamay Shah.
