In response, the prime minister instructed authorities to improve sports facilities for the youth, believing that talented young people like Sufiyan represent a bright future for Pakistan. He acknowledged that Pakistani youth are excelling in various fields, including sports, and their achievements are a source of national pride.
Sufiyan shared his aspiration of becoming a scientist with the prime minister, who spoke to him in Pashto to encourage him further. The meeting also included a discussion with Sufiyan’s father, Irfan Mehsood, who is a martial arts expert and holds over 100 Guinness World Records. The prime minister directed the PM Youth Programme to work with Irfan’s sports academy to promote a wide range of sports across the country, aiming to nurture and support young talent.
