Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz Loses in Final of 247 International Squash Tournament

Ahsan Ayaz from Pakistan has made it to the final of the 247 International Squash Championship in the United States.

In the semi-final, Ayaz won convincingly with a 3-0 victory over Egypt’s Karim Elbarbary. The scores were 11-3, 11-7, and 11-0, showing Ayaz’s strong performance. As the second seed in the tournament, Ayaz will now face Mohamed Sharaf of Egypt, the third seed, in the final match.

Earlier in the tournament, Ayaz defeated another Pakistani player, Fawad Khalil, in the quarter-finals. The scores were 11-7, 11-5, and 11-5. The 247 International Squash Championship has a prize pool of $3,000 and has featured many intense matches.

Ayaz recently won the Colleyville Open Squash 2024, where he beat India’s Yash Bhargava 3-1 in the final. This win highlighted Ayaz’s consistent performance and skill.

As he gets ready for the final, Ayaz is aiming to win another title and continue making a mark on the international squash scene.
