Chief Commissioner Office Announces Job Vacancies in Pakistan

The Office of the Chief Commissioner, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), has announced multiple job vacancies for Pakistani nationals on a regular basis. The recruitment process invites suitable candidates who meet the required criteria to apply for a variety of positions. The positions span different roles and grades, providing an opportunity for graduates and those with other qualifications to contribute to public service.

Available Positions

The available positions, along with their grade levels, number of posts, age limits, and required qualifications, are as follows:

  1. Assistant (BPS-15): 3 posts; age limit of 28 years; a Bachelor’s degree (second class or grade “C”) recognized by HEC.
  2. H.V.C. (BPS-14): 1 post; age limit of 25 years; intermediate level education with additional qualifications including an LLB or shorthand/typing skills.
  3. Steno Typist (BPS-14): 6 posts; age limit of 25 years; intermediate education with relevant shorthand and typing skills, and computer literacy is preferred.
  4. Lady Instructor (BPS-11): 5 posts; age limit of 25 years; intermediate with a diploma in skills like sewing, embroidery, or flower making.
  5. UDC (BPS-11): 3 posts; age limit of 25 years; intermediate qualification.
  6. Driver (BPS-4): 5 posts; age limit of 30 years; primary pass with a valid driving license and knowledge of traffic rules.
  7. Naib Qasid (BPS-1): 2 posts; age limit of 25 years; primary pass.
  8. Mali (BPS-1): 1 post; age limit of 25 years; primary pass.
  9. Sanitary Worker (BPS-1): 1 post; age limit of 25 years; primary pass.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Age Relaxation: Candidates will receive age relaxation as per government policy. An additional five years of upper age relaxation is applicable to all candidates.
  2. Government Employees: Candidates currently employed by government departments must apply through proper channels.
  3. IT Training: Selected candidates for Assistant and UDC positions must undergo basic IT training, including MS Office, conducted by the National Information Technology Board (NITB).
  4. Application Process: Candidates may apply for more than one post, but they must submit separate applications for each.
  5. Deadline: Interested candidates meeting the qualifications are required to apply within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication date.
  6. Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews or tests, and no travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided. Incomplete or false applications will be rejected.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can apply through the Open Testing Service (OTS) website at www.ots.org.pk. A test fee of PKR 250 must be paid in any branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, ABL, or Habib Metro Bank. Candidates must send a complete application form, along with CNIC, experience certificates, recent passport-size photos, and the original fee challan, through courier or Pakistan Post to the Manager Operation (Chief Commissioner ICT), OTS Office, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
