Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed his counterpart, and a formal ceremony included the playing of both nations’ anthems while Prime Minister Ibrahim stood at the salute dais.
The armed forces executed a meticulously organized guard of honor, which Ibrahim reviewed. Following the formalities, both leaders introduced their respective delegations before engaging in bilateral discussions.
As part of the visit’s traditions, Prime Minister Ibrahim planted a sapling in the garden of the PM House, symbolizing growth in their diplomatic relations.
