Pakistan’s Usama Saleem Featured on NASA’s Hall of Fame for Cybersecurity Work

Usama Saleem, a 25-year-old cybersecurity expert from Karachi, has been honored by being inducted into NASA’s Hall of Fame for his outstanding work in finding serious security weaknesses that could have put sensitive data at risk.

Despite having only three years of experience, Saleem has built a strong foundation in cybersecurity, specializing in Azure Security, Microsoft Sentinel, and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.

He is currently working towards his Master’s degree in Cyber Security at NUST and has earned more than 20 certifications, including the CEH Practical and Microsoft Cyber Security Architect.

In 2023 and 2024, he was recognized as a Sentinel Black Belt by Microsoft, a testament to his expertise in the field. His remarkable accomplishments not only showcase his skills but also highlight Pakistan’s growing reputation in the IT sector.

Saleem’s success serves as an inspiration for young professionals aspiring to pursue careers in cybersecurity.
