A PIA flight from Jeddah to Karachi left the luggage of more than 100 passengers behind due to limited space, the airline reported. Passengers only learned about the missing luggage after arriving in Karachi, which left many frustrated.
The airline spokesperson assured that the luggage would be delivered on the next available flight. This recent incident recalls a similar situation from 2020, when a PIA flight from Sharjah to Islamabad also landed without passengers’ baggage, sparking complaints about the handling of such cases.
In both instances, passengers voiced their disappointment over the lack of professionalism and inconvenience caused. PIA officials have promised to prioritize returning the luggage as soon as possible, but such incidents have raised concerns about the airline’s management of passenger belongings.
