ML&CD Rawalpindi Announces Job Position in Pakistan

ML&CD Rawalpindi has announced job openings for the position of Medical Officers (BS-17). These positions are available under the Pakistan Cantonments Servants Rules, 1954 (as amended). Male and female candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply for these regular posts.

Vacant Positions and Eligibility Criteria

The vacant posts are open for Medical Officers (BS-17) with the following requirements:

  1. Education: MBBS from a recognized university.
  2. Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in the relevant field.
  3. Additional Requirements:
  • Completion of a one-year house job.
  • Registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
  1. Age Limit:
  • Minimum: 27 years.
  • Maximum: 35 years.

Applicants must pass a departmental test and interview to qualify for the position.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Appointment Rules: All appointments will be made according to the Pakistan Cantonment Servants Rules, 1954 (as amended).
  2. Probation Period: Selected candidates will be on probation for one year under the rules.
  3. Transferability: Appointments are transferable throughout Pakistan.
  4. Gender Eligibility: Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
  5. Experience Requirements:
  • House job experience will not be counted towards the required experience.
  • Candidates with specialization (e.g., FCPS) will have it considered as a qualification but not as professional experience.

  • Applications submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
  • The upper age limit will be calculated from the closing date of applications. Age relaxation is allowed as per the rules.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests and interviews.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test or interview.
