Bachaapreneur, an Initiative by Bachaa Party to Empower Child Entrepreneurs in Pakistan This Children’s Day

Entrepreneurship is a key driver of economic growth and innovation. Pakistan is home to one of the youngest populations in the world, presenting an invaluable opportunity to redefine Entrepreneurship in Pakistan. Recognizing this immense talent and the need to nurture it, Bachaa Party launched the Grand Bachaapreneur Campaign, a one-of-a-kind initiative in collaboration with NIC Karachi, NIC Islamabad, and the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship. The campaign aims to empower Child Entrepreneurs in Pakistan by providing them with a platform to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and helping them take the first step into the startup Eco-system in Pakistan.

What is the Bachaapreneur Campaign?

Bachaa Party, driven by its vision to “be the best part of everyone’s childhood,” is renowned for its impactful social initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children in Pakistan. Recently launched Bachaa Party Bachaapreneur initiative became, an empowering platform designed to give young entrepreneurs recognition on Bachaa Party’s platforms and an opportunity to display their businesses at Bachaa Party stores. It is not just a campaign; it is a movement to redefine the future of startups in Pakistan.

The initial phase of the Bachaa Party Bachaapreneur Initiative was a resounding success. Many talented entrepreneurs came forward and expressed their interest in this empowering initiative.

This year, Bachaa Party elevated the Bachaapreneur Campaign to a nationwide level. By collaborating with NIC Karachi, NIC Islamabad, and the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship. Hundreds of budding entrepreneurs applied, and the top 10 from each city, Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore were selected to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win cash prizes and display their businesses at Bachaa Party store.

The initiative turned out to be a massive success. It discovered many innovative young entrepreneurs with unique business ideas. A young entrepreneur with a creative doll apparel design business, one with innovative build-and-craft toys, participants with many more creative ideas participated in this year’s mega Bachaa Party Bachaapreneur initiative. One standout participant even launched a start up focused on organic skincare products, reflecting how Pakistani entrepreneurs are full of creativity and potential.

Why Entrepreneurship Matters for Kids

Entrepreneurship isn’t just about starting a business as a means of livelihood, it’s a learning journey with the potential to teach numerous life skills, such as communication, financial literacy, problem-solving, innovation, critical thinking, decision-making, and teamwork. Through initiatives like Bachaapreneur, children are exposed to startup fundraising, *seed investment in Pakistan, and the real world challenges of running a business.

Bachaapreneur Success Stories

Emaan Danish, Pakistan’s youngest environmentalist and founder of the eco-friendly doll, is a proud Bachaapreneur. Emaan’s eco-friendly doll, Fizza, is supported by Bachaa Party and is available at all Bachaa Party stores. The proceeds from Fizza go toward running a climate education portal, accessible to everyone, demonstrating how initiative like this provide practical support for startups in Pakistan.

Participants aren’t just competing for grand cash prizes and a chance to showcase their businesses at a Bachaa Party store, they’re building confidence, learning skills, and gaining a first-hand understanding of entrepreneurship. Initiatives like this transform talented children into future Pakistani Entrepreneurs who can navigate challenges with innovation and determination and contribute in our economy.
