In a recent speech to Karachi’s business community, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir shared his confidence in Pakistan’s economic recovery and future stability. He noted that the sense of hopelessness that once surrounded the country is now fading away.
“I firmly believe in Pakistan’s bright and stable future,” General Munir stated, adding that the current economic indicators are showing positive signs and are expected to improve further.
He urged everyone to remain optimistic, saying, “Despair is not an option for Muslims,” and stressed that a hopeful attitude is essential to overcome challenges.
General Munir described Pakistan as “like a mother,” emphasizing its value and importance worldwide. He reminded the audience, “Our identity is tied to Pakistan,” calling for unity and a sense of national pride.
Addressing the business community, he encouraged them to invest in the country, highlighting that economic stability requires collective effort. “If we stay united, no one can harm us,” he said, urging investors to bring their resources and capital back to Pakistan.
