The Punjab Board of Revenue has announced an exciting job opportunity under its e-Library Project. Applications are invited from eligible individuals for a contractual position as IT Specialist. Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

The role of IT Specialist involves critical tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the e-Library Project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing Ethernet cards and configuring network drivers.
  • Troubleshooting network connections.
  • Supporting Windows (10 and above), Mac (OS 8 and above), and Linux operating systems.
  • Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining hardware and software.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting user workstation hardware and networked peripheral devices.
  • Assisting in the development of presentations for workshops, seminars, and meetings.
  • Performing additional technical tasks as required.

Eligibility Criteria

Age and Qualification

  • Age: 25 to 45 years.
  • Qualification: At least 16 years of education with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience

  • A minimum of three years of relevant field experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with government job experience.

Additional Requirements

  1. Applicants must have a Punjab domicile.
  2. The position is temporary and offered on a contract basis under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004.
  3. Selected candidates will not have any claim to regularization of their contract.
  4. The authority’s decision during recruitment is final and cannot be challenged in court.
  5. The position offers a lump sum salary package without additional allowances.
