Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PULSE) Announces Job Opportunities in Pakistan

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PULSE) Project, under the Government of Punjab, has opened doors for experienced professionals to join its team. Funded by the World Bank, the PULSE Project aims to enhance land systems in Punjab, and as part of its initiative, the unit is inviting applications from individual consultants for several specialized roles.

Positions Available

The PIU-PULSE is seeking skilled candidates for the following positions:

  1. MIS/IT Specialist
    • Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in GIS, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in designing and managing spatial databases and management systems. A minimum of 3 years in a similar capacity is required.
    • Additional Skills: Experience with GIS-based applications is an advantage.
  2. IT Security Expert for Professional Support
    • Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience managing large network security.
    • Certifications: CCNA/CCNP (Security) or equivalent training is mandatory.
  3. IT System Management Expert for Professional Support
    • Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience: At least 3 years of experience handling large system infrastructure.
    • Certifications: MCSA/MCSE or equivalent training is required.

Selection Criteria

The hiring process will adhere to the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (November 2020) and the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants methodology. The selection process will ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to the World Bank’s conflict of interest policies.
