The announcement was made during a meeting of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI)’s Pakistan-China Business Council. The medical city will include facilities for manufacturing medical equipment, a world-class medical college, training programs, and other healthcare-related businesses.

The project is supported by the Pakistan-China Medical Association and is expected to be completed within three years. It is being developed by 35 Chinese business groups listed on the Chinese Stock Exchange.
