The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially shared the schedule for the upcoming tour of Pakistan by the West Indies cricket team. This much-anticipated visit will begin on January 6, 2025, when the West Indies squad is set to arrive in Pakistan.
As part of their preparations, the West Indies will play a three-day warm-up match against the Pakistan Shaheens. This match will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from January 10 to January 12. Following this, the team will travel to Multan to take part in a two-match Test series against Pakistan’s national cricket team.
The first Test match is scheduled to take place from January 17 to January 21, while the second Test will be played from January 25 to January 29. This series marks a historic moment, as it will be the West Indies’ first Test tour of Pakistan in nearly two decades. Their last visit for a Test series was in 2016, but it has been 19 years since they played Test matches in Pakistan.
This tour is a significant step for both teams and an exciting opportunity for fans to witness high-quality cricket on Pakistani soil. It also reflects the growing efforts to bring international cricket back to the country.
