Pakistani Asif Bashir Nominated for Indian Civil Award for Saving 44 Lives During Hajj 2024

Pakistani national Asif Bashir has been nominated for a highly respected Indian Civil Award in recognition of his extraordinary courage and selflessness during Hajj 2024.

In the scorching heat of Mina, where ambulances were unavailable, Asif Bashir stepped forward to save lives. Displaying incredible strength and determination, he carried and rescued a total of 44 individuals who were in critical condition due to the extreme weather. Among those he saved were 24 Indian nationals, whose lives might have been lost without his timely intervention.
