Pakistan Set to Launch Satellite to the Moon Soon: SUPARCO Official

Pakistan is making important progress in space exploration, with plans to launch satellites to the moon and beyond. The country is working closely with China to expand its space program.

Asim Shabbier Zaidi, the Deputy Chief Manager at SUPARCO, shared that Pakistan is focusing on launching a variety of satellite systems. These include satellites designed for exploring the moon and other far-off destinations. Zaidi hinted that there would be exciting updates about these projects in the near future.

In addition to the satellite missions, Pakistan is also preparing to introduce Starlink’s satellite system, which will provide high-speed internet across the country.

This will happen once the necessary licensing and regulatory work is completed. The introduction of Starlink is expected to greatly improve internet connectivity, especially in remote areas.

SUPARCO, Pakistan’s space agency, is also working on an indigenous satellite called the Electro-Optical Satellite EO-1.

This satellite will enhance Pakistan’s capabilities in space technology and strengthen the country’s position in the global space industry. The development of EO-1 is a crucial step in advancing Pakistan’s space program and increasing its technological independence.

With these efforts, Pakistan is on its way to becoming a significant player in space exploration, with the potential to contribute valuable insights to global space research and technology.

These advancements show that Pakistan is committed to expanding its capabilities and making meaningful contributions to the future of space exploration.
