The Ministry of Federal Education is working with a US-based academy to bring Khanmigo, an AI-powered learning assistant, to government middle schools in Islamabad. This project aims to make education more personalized and engaging for students.
Khanmigo will help students by providing customized learning support, identifying gaps in their knowledge, and making it easier for them to understand different subjects. The AI tutor will also support the Urdu language, making learning more accessible for a wider range of students.
To ensure effective use of this technology, teachers will receive special training on how to guide students in using Khanmigo. With proper training, teachers will be able to integrate AI-based learning into their classrooms, making lessons more interactive and effective.
Currently, about 50% of middle schools in Islamabad have IT labs, which will help support this new learning system. With the expertise of Khan Academy, this initiative has the potential to transform education, providing students with modern learning tools that can help them succeed.
