Over 100 Policemen Dismissed in Lahore for Refusing Duty

More than 100 policemen in Lahore have been removed from their jobs for refusing to report for duty. This decision was made following orders from DIG of Operations.

According to officials, several officers, including Ateeq, Zain, Ali, Sheeraz, Shan, Zubair, and Adeel, were among those dismissed. Their records have been officially updated to reflect their termination. Authorities have made it clear that those who fail to fulfill their duties have no place in the police department.

The officers were repeatedly asked to report for security duty but did not comply. After multiple refusals, the department decided to take strict action. Officials have stressed that maintaining discipline is a priority, and negligence will not be tolerated.

This move is part of a broader effort to ensure accountability within the police force. The authorities want to send a strong message that all officers must take their responsibilities seriously. A police force can only function effectively when its members are committed to their duties, and those who fail to do so will face consequences.

By dismissing these officers, the department aims to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of law enforcement. This step also serves as a warning to others that strict measures will be taken against those who neglect their responsibilities.

The police leadership remains firm on maintaining order and ensuring that all officers serve with dedication. Such actions are necessary to build a disciplined and professional force that the public can trust.
