The Punjab government has launched the Chief Minister Laptop Program 2025, aimed at providing high-performance laptops to bright students in public sector universities and colleges. Under this initiative, 110,000 deserving students will receive 13th-generation Core i7 laptops to support their education.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Must have a Punjab domicile.
- Must be enrolled in 1st or 2nd semester of a BS program in a public university or college.
- Medical and dental students in their first professional academic year (2024) at public institutions can also apply.
- Students in public universities and colleges need at least 65% marks in their intermediate exams.
- Medical and dental students must have scored at least 80% in intermediate.
- Applicants should not have received a laptop under any previous government scheme.
How to Apply?
Students can apply online by following these steps:
- Visit the Punjab Higher Education website.
- Click on the “CM Laptop Program” section.
- Select the “Apply Now” option.
- Fill out the registration form with personal details, including:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
- Password (set and confirm)
- Captcha verification
- Submit the form to create an account.
Once registered, applicants can log in and complete their submissions for the laptop program.
The CM Laptop Program is one of Punjab’s most well-known educational initiatives. It was originally introduced by Shehbaz Sharif during his tenure as Punjab’s Chief Minister. Over the years, the scheme has benefited thousands of students, helping them with research, studies, and online learning.
