Saudi Arabia has set up smart lockers outside Masjid al-Haram to help Umrah pilgrims safely store their belongings. These lockers have been introduced by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques to provide a secure storage solution, especially for visitors coming from other cities.
Since carrying luggage inside the mosque is not allowed, these lockers will make it easier for pilgrims to perform Umrah and Tawaf without any hassle. The service is designed to offer convenience and security, allowing visitors to focus on their worship.
During Ramadan, the lockers will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They use advanced technology to ensure safe storage, making it easier for pilgrims to keep their valuables protected while they pray.
This new facility is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to improve the experience of worshippers at Masjid al-Haram. By providing a reliable place to store their belongings, pilgrims can now perform their religious duties with peace of mind, without worrying about their luggage.
