After the success of its first Singles + Moms matchmaking event in Pakistan, global Muslim marriage app Muzz is now taking the initiative nationwide. The app has announced a series of four in-person events across major Pakistani cities including Islamabad, Faisalabad, Lahore, and Karachi all happening in May 2025.
The Singles + Moms format aims to create a comfortable space where marriage-minded singles can meet potential matches in the presence of their mothers or siblings. These gatherings are designed to be safe, respectful, and interactive, combining traditional family values with a more modern and open approach to matchmaking.
The tour begins in Islamabad on May 3rd, followed by events in Faisalabad on May 17th, Lahore on May 18th, and Karachi on May 24th. Tickets are available exclusively through the Muzz app, with limited spots to ensure a balanced and meaningful experience for attendees.
Muzz has described the initiative as part of its broader mission to modernize the rishta culture in Pakistan. “We’re creating spaces where families are welcome, but singles still have the opportunity to speak for themselves, ask questions, and explore compatibility in a natural way,” a Muzz spokesperson shared.
Each event includes ice-breaking activities to help participants engage more easily. Rather than relying on awkward silences or one-sided introductions, the format encourages group conversations, mutual respect, and genuine interaction. Attendees often bring their mothers, but some also arrive with siblings or trusted family members.
According to Muzz, past events have already led to several ongoing connections, with a few families moving forward in the rishta process. Feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the rare chance to interact in a real, face-to-face environment outside of drawing rooms or impersonal apps.
The events are not just about introductions, they also represent a shift in mindset. In a matchmaking landscape that can often feel outdated or uncomfortable, Muzz is offering a new kind of experience. One where tradition and technology work together to support sincere, long-term relationships.
The events are open to all single Muslims serious about marriage, and the Muzz team encourages interested participants to register early due to limited availability. With over 13 million members worldwide and a fast-growing user base in Pakistan, Muzz’s offline events represent a powerful complement to its digital platform, offering both technology and tradition to those looking for their other half.
