A tragic bus accident in Saudi Arabia has taken the lives of five Pakistani Umrah pilgrims, including three women, while they were traveling from Badr to Madina. The victims were part of a group on a religious journey, and most of them belonged to Bahawalnagar in Pakistan. Among those who lost their lives were Rukhsana Bibi, Amina Bibi, and Manzoor Hussain.
Several other passengers were also injured in the accident. They are currently being treated at various hospitals in Madina, including Saudi-German Hospital, King Fahd Hospital, and King Salman Hospital. Medical teams are working to ensure they receive the best care possible.
The Pakistan Consulate in Saudi Arabia has stepped in to help. They are providing full support to the affected families and are in contact with the Umrah company to handle all necessary arrangements. In a heartfelt decision, the families of the deceased pilgrims have chosen to bury their loved ones in Saudi Arabia, close to the holy cities they were visiting. This heartbreaking incident has deeply affected the community, both in Pakistan and abroad, as families mourn their loved ones lost during this sacred journey.
