PIA has introduced a new direct flight from Lahore to Paris, making it easier for travelers to reach the French capital without stopovers. The non-stop service will operate every Wednesday, starting from June 18.
This step comes after PIA was allowed to resume flights to Europe in January, following the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) decision to lift a long-standing ban. The ban, which lasted over four years, was originally imposed in July 2020 after issues were discovered related to pilot licenses.
With this new route, PIA becomes the only Pakistani airline currently offering direct flights to European destinations. The airline expects this move to help regain passengers’ trust, boost its global image, and increase revenue. It will also bring convenience to Pakistanis living in Europe, particularly those who previously had to rely on other airlines or make lengthy connections.
The Lahore-Paris route is especially valuable for students, business professionals, and families visiting loved ones. It marks a positive shift for PIA as it works to rebuild its position in international aviation.
This direct flight reflects PIA’s renewed efforts to expand services and improve customer experience. Travelers looking to fly to Paris from Lahore now have a faster, more efficient option, thanks to this newly launched connection.
