Uzbekistan Airways to Launch Direct Tashkent to Islamabad Flights

Uzbekistan Airways to Start Direct Tashkent–Islamabad Flights from June 14, 2025

Uzbekistan Airways has announced that it will start direct flights between Tashkent and Islamabad from June 14, 2025. These flights will run once a week, every Saturday. The new route is a major step to improve travel, trade, and cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

This move is part of the Central and South Asia Connectivity Initiative, which aims to bring countries in the region closer through better transport links. The airline already operates two flights a week between Tashkent and Lahore. Now, by adding Islamabad to the list, travel between the two nations will become easier and faster.

The direct flights are expected to help in many areas. They will make it easier for businesspeople to meet and explore new trade opportunities. Tourists from both countries will be able to visit each other more comfortably. Students and professionals can also benefit through better academic and cultural exchange programs.

This new air route is not just about travel—it also shows growing friendship and trust between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. The flights will give a strong boost to investment and economic growth by opening up new markets and making regional trade more accessible.
