The Balochistan police force has gone digital, with online FIR registration and other features

Balochistan Inspector General (IG) of Police Mohsin Hassan Buttl digitalized the obsolete and traditional police system in order to bring the province police system in accordance with current policing procedures.

The computerized Data Command and Communication Center (DCCC) have been set up in the IG’s office, according to details.

The new system will allow for the online registration of First Information Reports (FIRs), as well as the collection of mobile service centre and human resource management data in the DCCC.

In order to give the best service to the public, effective monitoring of police officers’ performances and police stations will be carried out through digital data collecting.

IGP Mohsin Butt, speaking on the occasion, stated that all police stations in the province will henceforth record computerised FIRs, and that Gawalmandi police station is completely digitally equipped with all amenities.
