Foreign Airlines Use Pakistan’s Airspace for International Routes Amid Regional Airspace Closures

Because of the increasing conflict in the Middle East, many major international airlines have started using Pakistan’s airspace to avoid flying over dangerous areas in the region. This change is being made to ensure the safety of passengers and flight crews.

Airspaces over countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Israel have been closed due to the ongoing tensions. As a result, leading airlines such as Emirates, Lufthansa, and Qatar Airways have rerouted their flights. These new flight paths now pass through northern and western parts of Pakistan, and then continue over Central Asia and Turkey to reach their destinations.

These adjustments come after several warnings about possible risks to aircraft in the conflict zones. With these new routes in place, Pakistan has become an important and safer corridor for international air travel. The country’s airspace is now playing a vital role in keeping global flight operations running smoothly despite the instability in the surrounding regions.
