In a bold and precedent-setting move, Chakor Ventures has launched Pakistan’s first-ever live digital possession countdown at its flagship high-rise project, Citadel 7, located in the heart of Islamabad’s Blue Area.
The timer — now counting 555 days to possession also on the website (https://chakorventures.com/) — was officially unveiled in front of top media outlets, industry professionals, investors, and partners, marking a new era of transparency and accountability in the country’s real estate industry.
Omer Khitab, representing the senior leadership at Chakor Ventures, formally unveiled the countdown display, stating:
“This is not just a timer — it’s a message to the market. Our timelines are public, visible, and accountable. Citadel 7 is not just being built; it’s being timed — and delivered.”
Speaking on the strategic thinking behind the initiative, Khurram Malik, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Chakor Ventures, emphasized the deeper shift in how real estate marketing should evolve:
“We believe marketing is not just about creating noise — it’s about creating trust. This countdown timer is part of a larger vision where proof replaces promises. It’s a statement that real delivery should be visible and measurable.”
From a sales standpoint, Jawad Amin, Director Sales, explained how the countdown is directly addressing investor concerns:
“One of the first questions any investor asks is — will it be delivered on time? With this timer, we’ve taken that question and turned it into a commitment they can see every day. This is how investor confidence is built — not just by talking, but by showing.”
The event was hosted by Haseeb Noor, Marketing Manager, Chakor Ventures and thanked the audience.
In his closing remarks, Omer Khitab thanked the media and partners, adding:
“This initiative sets a benchmark for the entire industry. Our message is simple: when you’re confident in your commitment, you don’t hide your timeline — you display it.”
