The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the deadline for Hajj 2026 registration has been extended. Originally set for July 9, the new deadline is now July 11. The decision was made after a large number of people requested more time to complete their applications.
So far, around 313,000 people have already registered to perform Hajj in 2026. The Ministry has reminded everyone that registration is free and must be done in advance to be eligible. Once the registration process closes, applicants will have the option to choose between government-run or private Hajj schemes, depending on their preference.
The Ministry has also clarified that Pakistanis living abroad and those who missed out on private Hajj quotas in the past must also register during this period if they wish to apply for Hajj 2026.
Details about the costs, packages, and other policies will be announced later as part of the complete Hajj 2026 plan.
Officials said that extending the deadline will help more people complete the process without any rush. They advised all intending pilgrims to complete their registration before the new closing date to avoid missing out.
The Ministry has also promised to share all necessary information and updates in the coming months so that pilgrims can prepare well in advance for their journey.
The Hajj registration is a key first step for all Pakistanis who wish to perform this important religious duty in 2026.
