Huda Beauty has promised to give all the money earned from its recent Kalamantina campaign to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) to help provide medical support in Gaza.
This decision came after many people on social media criticized the campaign’s images, saying they were not appropriate during such a serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Many followers felt the visuals did not match the painful reality faced by people living there.
Huda Kattan, the founder of Huda Beauty, responded to the feedback and said the main goal of the campaign was always to make a difference and bring attention to important issues. After listening to public concerns, the company decided to donate 100 percent of the money to help people in urgent need.
The brand will now give $210,000 to Médecins Sans Frontières. This money will be used to offer emergency medical care to people suffering due to the crisis in Gaza. The funds are expected to help with life-saving treatments, medicines, and other essential health services.
Huda Kattan also shared that she hopes this step will inspire other brands and people to do more for those affected by conflicts and disasters around the world.
This donation shows that brands can listen to their customers and use their resources to help during difficult times. Huda Beauty has encouraged its followers to keep talking about these issues and to support trusted organizations working on the ground.
